Terms of Service

The contract between you and Cratewake.

Last updated: 2026-08-18

The service

Cratewake is a back-office tool for one-person Shopify, Amazon, and Etsy sellers. The service gives you a morning brief across your connected stores, margin-floor / max-delta guardrails, an opt-in auto-repricer, and a unified inbox for customer messages from each connected marketplace.

Cratewake connects to your own Shopify, Amazon, and Etsy accounts via each marketplace's developer APIs — through the Shopify Partner app install flow, the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API), and the Etsy Open API OAuth flow. You authorize Cratewake at each step, and you can revoke any of those authorizations at any time without affecting the others.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your Cratewake login credentials secure and for the activity that happens on your account. If you believe someone else has accessed your account, tell us at the contact address below so we can lock it down and rotate credentials.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract in your jurisdiction to create a Cratewake account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Cratewake to violate any marketplace's terms of service or seller policies.
  • Use Cratewake to send unsolicited messages, spam, or anything that would cause the connected marketplace to flag or suspend your seller account.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or sublicense Cratewake (other than as a seller using it for your own stores).
  • Use Cratewake to violate any applicable law.

Your connected stores

You own your stores and the underlying data. When you connect a Shopify, Amazon, or Etsy account to Cratewake, you authorize us to read and manage the data on that store described in the Privacy Policy — inventory, pricing, orders, and customer messages — and to act on your behalf within the scopes the marketplace's developer platform granted us.

You can revoke any connector at any time, either from inside Cratewake or from the marketplace's own app-installation page. Revocation disconnects the connector immediately; Cratewake stops reading from that store, and any pending writes that we haven't sent yet are dropped. Tokens and cached store data are purged on the schedule described in the Privacy Policy.

Marketplace credential responsibility

You are responsible for the marketplace credentials you authorize us with. If a marketplace rotates or revokes them, we'll surface that inside Cratewake and ask you to reauthorize.

Fees

Pricing during the current beta: free for the first month, then a flat $19 per month per connected seller. Cratewake does not charge per-order, per-message, or per-API-call during the beta.

Pricing may change after the beta ends. If it does, we'll give you at least thirty days' notice by email before the new pricing takes effect on your account.

Termination

You can stop using Cratewake at any time. To delete your account, use the delete flow in the app or write to the contact address below. We'll delete your Cratewake account data on the schedule described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms and don't cure the breach within thirty days of notice, or if the law or a marketplace platform requires us to.

Intellectual property

Cratewake, the Cratewake brand, and the product itself are owned by us. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Cratewake for your own stores, under these terms.

You keep ownership of the data on your connected stores and of any content you put into Cratewake (saved replies, supplier notes, custom rules).

Disclaimers

Cratewake is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep it correct and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not warrant any specific business outcome. Use Cratewake alongside, not in place of, whatever monitoring your marketplaces already offer.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Cratewake's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Cratewake is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless we both agree to arbitrate first.

Changes

If we change these terms in a material way, we'll post the new version here with an updated "Last updated" date and notify you by email before the change takes effect. Continued use of Cratewake after the effective date is acceptance of the new terms.
